Summary Session 5

The group force open the pirate's chest, count out the loot and then defeat four little monkey with a sleep spell.

The next day they return to the camp, where they offer Ishirou an uneven split of the loot and some threats.  Ishirou thanks them for their efforts, but is clearly shaken by the threats and the loud, nearly violent argument between the paladin and the junkie.  Everyone is scared about the implications of Dorian and Szraiel's arguments about taped up monkeys, shaving and spanking.

Ron's disease causes the party to rest to let him recover, and the party do little for about 5 days except put down a ghost by presenting it with a locket found on the Brine Demon wreck.

The group eventually leave camp despite Dorian's protests at needing to leave his hammock for anything more than a trip to the latrine and collect some viper nettle thorns to potentially brew poisons and to shore up the defenses in the camp.

The next day they finally head off around the cove to check out the fungus island.  They discover a snare left on a jungle trail, presumably by the cannibals and a giant crab lair, unoccupied.  They continue on to another abandoned camp, finding a dagger marked with the red lotus symbol. 

They then continue until the come across a crab the size of a house.  The crab is dead and is, in fact, a house, the home of a tengu named Pezock, a mad creature the group convince to come with them when they return to face the cannibals.

Upon reaching a tidal causeway that appears "open" at all times except high tide, the party rest and are awakened once more by a group of shocker lizards.  Helga and Titus are, as usual, surprised while on watch but this time the lizards prove much less of an obstacle.

They proceed across the small island and another tidal causeway, this one apparently only "open" at low tide and find a shipwreck, the Nightvoice, covered in fungus and occupied by vegepygmies.  9 Vegepygmies in all are defeated.
